Despitethe two typhoons that hit the Philippines,the world's top pound for pound boxer Manny Pacquiao is confident he can defeat the top boxer of Puerto Rico MiguelCotto in their incoming fight on November 14 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
No less than Pacquiao's superstar coach Freddie Roach boldly predicted that hisward will win by knock-out against the much bigger Cotto in their incoming muchawaited fight.
Roach who went from his comfort zone in Wildcard Gym in Los Angeles to go to Baguio City, the summer capital of the Philippines totrain Pacquiao said the Filipino superstar is now 75 percent ready in his fightagainst Cotto three weeks before the actual fight.
The hall of fame boxing coach also revealed the two knockdowns imposed byPacquiao to his sparring mate rising boxing star the undefeated American ShawnPorter is a big testament that his favorite pupil will cut the lights out ofCotto in their highly anticipated fight.
Porter who resembles the fighting style of Cotto and much bigger than theFilipino boxing phenomenon got the shock of his life when Pacquiao floored himduring their intense sparring session.
Aside from Porter, Mexican boxing star and former champion Jose Luis Castillowho almost beat Floyd Mayweather during their past fight also suffered thewrath of Pacquiao during their sparring session.
Although Castillo did not fall during their fight, Castillo suffered a swollenface when he faces Pacquiao toe to toe in their sparring session.
Castillo said Cotto will be surprised by the speed and power of Pacquiao whenthey would face each other in the ring.
The American trainer said despite the typhoons that hit the Philippines, Pacquiao was stillable to have a great training including a aqua training at the swimming pool.
He said come November 14, Pacquiao will surely emerge victorious against Cottoin their scheduled fight.
